Waters S. Davis was a Grolier Club member from 1932 to 1940. During the period ca. 1927-1938, Davis made several collecting trips to France in search of French booksellers and auction catalogs. He donated many of the catalogs represented in these lists to the Grolier Club library during his lifetime.
